There’s something special about visiting Kodachrome Basin State Park that is hard to fully explain unless you’ve stood there yourself. The moment I drive into the basin, I immediately feel calmer. The scenery has a peaceful stillness to it that feels untouched and quiet compared to many of the busier parks in southern Utah. It’s one of those places where I can slow down, breathe easier, and simply enjoy being surrounded by nature.
