Why People Buy Warm Landscape Photos More Than Winter Ones

As a landscape photographer, I have noticed something interesting over the years. People often stop and admire winter mountain photographs. They tell me how beautiful the snow looks, how peaceful the trees feel, or how dramatic the storm clouds appear over the mountains. But when it actually comes time for them to purchase a print for their home, office, or wall space, most people end up choosing spring, summer, or fall images instead.
